FITTS, John S., Jr. lifelong resident of Scituate, died on June 22, 2010 at the age of 85. A 1941 graduate of Scituate High School, John was the manager of Fitts Mill in Greenbush for many years and member of South Shore Antique Auto Club.
Loving brother of Julia Brand of Bedford and the late Pauline Guivens. Uncle of Robert S. Brand of Bedford, Renee, Edward, Jarrod and Kylie Brand. Also survived by numerous cousins. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26th at the First Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way, Scituate at 11AM followed by internment in Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4PM-8PM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., Scituate, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
