

DAME, Julia (Coleman)- 92, Of Scituate, former longtime resident of Roslindale and Jamaica Plain passed away peacefully on the afternoon of August 30, 2016 at the Life Care Center of the South Shore in Scituate. She was the beloved wife of the late George Lombard. After being widowed at a young age, she was remarried to the late Edgar Dame.
Born in Brookline, MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Ellen (Lennon) Coleman. She graduated from Brookline High School and worked as a medical administrative assistant at the Boston Lying In Hospital and at a private doctors’ practice in Dedham until she retired.
Julia was the devoted mother of George “Frankie” Lombard of Andover, MA, Sheila Lombard Kukstis and her husband Paul of Scituate, MA and William Lombard and his wife Colleen of Charlotte, NC.
Cherished grandmother of Christopher Kukstis, Emily Voigt and her husband Sam, James Kukstis, Daniel Lombard, Sean Lombard and Deirdre Lombard. She was also the treasured great-grandmother of Otto Paul Voigt.
She was the loving sister of the late Thomas Coleman and Alice Curran.
She was the dear aunt of George Curran, Linda Marino, Diane Curran, Christina Coleman, Thomas Coleman, Theodore Coleman, Joseph Coleman, Paul Coleman and the late William Coleman.
Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury.
