Louise Healey

Louise (O'Connor) Healey – 76, longtime resident of Scituate passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2018. She was the beloved wife of John F. Healey, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.

Devoted mother of Anne Marie Curry and her husband Paul of Danvers, Heather Don and her husband Drew of Scituate, Douglas Healey of San Diego, CA and the late John Patrick Healey. Cherished Grandma of Andrew, Benjamin, Nicholas, Joshua, Chloe, Mary and Noah.

Loving sister of James O’Connor of South Boston and the late Marie O’Connor, Theresa O’Connor, Veronica Meharg, Charles O’Connor, Paul O’Connor and Robert O’Connor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Throughout Louise’s life, her primary vocation was that of a wife and mother, caring for the family home, raising her family and cooking. She was most devoted to her family and in the past 22 years was always a presence in the lives of her grandchildren, often watching them while their parents worked. She was a loving mother and wife and will be greatly missed.

Visiting Hours Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
