Marilyn L. Slattery (1946-2022) of Norwell died after a long illness. She was the wife of William S. Slattery, Jr., daughter of the late John J. Reardon and late Eileen Foley of South Boston & Braintree, the mother of Brian J. Slattery, his fiancé Jenny Wilkins of the west coast. She was predeceased by her siblings Barbara Flynn of Braintree, Joan Garrity of Dorchester and John J. Reardon Jr, of Quincy. She is also survived by her niece Heather Flynn Visconte of Rockland.
She was a retired teacher of French and Spanish in the Randolph Public Schools from 1969 to 2006, having graduated from South Boston High, Boston State and Boston College.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday February 23, 2022 from 8:30am-9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am from St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate. Words of comfort can be left at www.richardsongaffeyfuneralhome.com
