Mary M. Monahan

She was born in Cambridge and was a longtime resident of Scituate. She worked at the former Pier 44 Restaurant in Scituate for 28 years. Mary enjoyed spending time and entertaining her friends and family.

Wife of the late Paul C. Monahan Sr., she is survived by her children, Ellen Holly of Elkhorn, WI, Paul C. Monahan, Jr., his wife Theresa of Franklin, Patricia Sheerin of Hingham, Susan Monahan of Dracut, Mary Marckini of Rockland, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, two brothers: George O’Brien, his wife Faye of Naples, FL and John O’Brien, his wife Maureen of Scituate, and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her brothers Harry and James. She is also survived by her sisters in law Adele of Naples, FL, Marian O’Brien of East Bridgewater and Anne O’Brien of Nahant.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday October 6, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Church, 10 Summer Street, Cohasset, MA.
