Paul Edwin Harris

of Scituate, MA passed away peacefully on July 5, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Karen, his three children Jeff Harris (wife, Sandy) of Crystal Lake, IL, Gena Grant (husband, Ron) of West Dundee, IL, and Jennifer Harris of Scituate, MA, his eight grandchildren, and his Jack Russell Terrier, Lily.

Paul was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on January 25, 1943. He was actively involved in the Catholic church as a child, serving as an altar boy and graduating from Cretin Catholic High School in St. Paul in 1961. After completing his degree at Rasmussen Business School, he worked in the field of corporate taxes where he worked his way up to the executive level. His career led him to the Chicago area where he raised his family. He left the corporate tax field after 30 years to work as a real estate broker in Princeton, Wisconsin for 20 years. Paul loved being in the real estate business. He and his wife Karen bought and sold over 20 houses during their marriage.

Paul will be remembered for his fabulous sense of humor, his funny sayings, and his genuine kindness. His children and grandchildren will truly miss their beloved father and grandfather (also lovingly known as “Tic”).
