Richard J. Kent

Rick was a 1971 graduate of Scituate High School. He recently retired as a Construction Supervisor for the Department of Transportation. Rick loved fishing, golfing with friends at Widow’s Walk, spending time with his family and many loving friends.

Loving and devoted husband of Cynthia (Barton). Dear father of Brad and wife Danielle of Scituate. Beloved brother of Stephen and his wife Sharon, Paul and his fiancé Donna Mullen all of Marshfield, Peter and his wife Veronica of Scituate, Mary Kate Foley of Pembroke, Eileen Welch of Sandwich, the late Amy (Welch) Dimitri and Janice Kent. Cherished Grampy of Addison and Brennan Kent. Rick was the son of the late Paul and Mildred (Taylor) Kent.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 25th from 2PM to 6PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 26th at 11AM at North Community Church, 75 Old Main St, Marshfield Hills.
