

Beloved husband of the late Barbara J. (Blake) Tarantino, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.
Devoted father of Robert Tarantino and his wife Cathy of Attleboro and Diane Zeidman and her husband Michael of Plymouth. Cherished grandfather of Ricky, Patricia, Stephen, Chris and Heather; great grandfather to Sophie, Bella, Payton, Cash, Hannah and Isabella. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a proud, honorably discharged USMC Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was devoted to his family, his country and his beloved dogs Bella and Angel. His caring nature led him to a 32 year career with the Registry of Motor Vehicles working as an Officer of Handicapped Affairs and involvement with the Scituate Council on Aging to ensure handicapped accessibility compliance. He also worked with the Braintree Police Department for many years.
Visitation Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 8:15 – 9:30 AM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., SCITUATE followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St., Scituate.
Interment with USMC military funeral honors at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
