Wesley Medwid

Wes was a 2009 graduate of Cohasset High School. He was a member of the CHS Swim/Dive Team where his successful performances led him to compete in the state finals. He was currently attending the University of Colorado in Boulder as a chemistry major. Wes was an avid skateboarder and also loved snowboarding.

The beloved son of Jayne Medwid of Scituate and Robert Medwid of Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Grandson of Raymond and Marti Libbey of Carthage, North Carolina. Half brother of Rob Medwid of Urbana, MD, Craig Medwid of Bellingham, Jonathan Medwid of Suffield, CT and Laura Eisenhaure of Suffield, CT.

Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Friends & family are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, July 31st from 4:30 to 8:30 at Richardson Gaffey Funeral Home in Scituate.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 1, at 2PM at the Second Congregational Church 43 Highland Ave, Cohasset. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Rockland Trust Bank in Wesley's name for a charity to be determined.
