Alice was a loving wife, caring mother, cherished sister, aunt, and proud grandmother. She lived a life full of spirit, love and laughter. In her later years she married Bob Couch, and together they enjoyed traveling, gardening and visiting family and friends. She was known for her quick wit and sense of humor. Alice had a generous spirit. She gave freely of herself to anyone in need, often praying quietly for others when they didn't even know it. She was an exceptional cook and gardener, she found joy in nurturing plants and people.
A little while after Bob's passing Alice moved into the Mitchell Care center due to health issues. There she became a volunteer ambassador , welcoming new residents and easing their fears with kindness and understanding. She rekindled old friendships and formed many new ones. She enjoyed baking cookies and breads for afternoon activities in assisted living.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Mitchell Care Center and to the medical teams at Regional West Health Services for their support during Alice's final days.
Alice is survived by her sisters Genevieve Belford and Laura Feil. Her brother-in-law Rick Olson. Her children Linda (Steve) Alfred, Allison Smallfoot, Tony Bauer and Regina Collier. A very special niece Lou Ann (Paul) Murrell , several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
