Buck was born to Tom and Bev (Nunnenkamp) Johnson on March 11, 1969 at Oshkosh, Nebraska. He attended several different schools, graduating in 1987 from Gordon High School where he excelled in football. In his teen years, he was active in Rodeo Bible Camp winning the All-Around Cowboy saddle in 1986.
Buck enjoyed hunting deer, fishing, and calling coyotes with his family and friends. He enjoyed racing stock cars where he won a track championship and developed many lifelong friendships. He loved going to garage sales and auctions and also had a wonderful talent for making knives. Throughout his adult life he worked on several ranches and drove truck.
Buck married Trisha Namath on February 14, 1991 at Oshkosh. This union was blessed with one son, Justin Lee. Buck later married Karen Hoeft on July 29, 2006 at North Platte and gained a second son Jacob Jonathon. He really enjoyed his family.
Because of his faith in his Lord Jesus Christ, he was very confident of his eternal home in Heaven and now has joined his father Tom, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and nephew Tyrel.
Left to mourn Buck’s passing are his sons Justin and Jacob; mother Bev, brothers Kurt (Deb), Tater (Carol), and James; four nephews; four nieces; one great-nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends.
