Dale J. Hensley 70 of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Mitchell Care Center. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 4-7p.m. and Saturday from 1-5 p.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Refreshments will be served. Dale was born on October 22, 1943 in Broadwater, Nebraska to Oscar and Helen May (Shuler) Hensley. He attended school in Broadwater. Dale farmed and ranched in the Panhandle area. He worked for several different ranchers through the years. Dale enjoyed fishing and traveling to the mountains. He loved to go horseback riding. Survivors include his significant other Suzane Karbowski of Scottsbluff; brother Glen Hensley of Broadwater; sisters Irene Pankowski of Alliance, Bertha Cochran of Scottsbluff and Joann Hopkins of Beaverton, OR; Tammy Sherfey Berry, Lyle Sherfey, Dale Sherfey and James Sherfey and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
