Darrel L Atchison

Memorial Services for Darrel Atchison will be held Saturday September 6th at 11 a.m. at The Vine United Methodist Church, 2002 4th Ave, Scottsbluff, NE with Pastor Craig Collins officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Nebraska Army National Guard. The service will be livestreamed - www.youtube.com/@thevineumcscottsbluff.

He was born on October 15, 1945, in Chadron NE, to George Atchison and Leone Atchison (Burke).

After graduating from Harrison Hight School, he then served in the US Army from 1965-1968. He married Marilynn Siefers on June 30th, 1968.

Darrel was an amazing man. He loved to go fishing, do woodworking and spend time with his family. He was a man who didn’t know a stranger and would do anything for anyone.

Survivors include Son Darrel L Atchison Jr aka Toby, Daughter Dulcey Mannel, Son Brandon Atchison (Carrie), Daughter Brenda Fanning (Ron), Daughter Wendy Pino, 15 Grandchildren, and 19 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by both parents, his siblings, his wife and a great grandson.
