Ervin Kukas

He was born on July 7, 1951, in Scottsbluff, NE, to Al and Irene (Heilbrun) Kukas. He received his early education at Morrill Public Schools, graduating from Scottsbluff High School. He attended Colorado School of Mines graduating in 1973.

He married Sharron Anne Knaul on May 26, 1973, in Golden Colorado, and made their home in Denver Colorado, later in Bartlesville, OK, returning to Denver, Colorado.

Ervin worked as a Geophysical Engineer for Phillips Petroleum, but his proudest moment was programming patient monitors in intensive care units, also pointing out that he programmed the machines that were motioning them in intensive care units.

He was an avid reader.

Ervin is survived by his loving older sister Laurie A. Kukas, and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
