On August 23, 1942, he married the love of his life, Helen Asemo Pappas in Sutherland, Nebraska and together they had four children. He served as a barber in the Navy and they moved to Scottsbluff in 1957. After working in the oil industry for several years, Mr. Palser founded Cementer’s Inc. in 1960, which became a well known service company in the oil industry. He also founded Bluff’s Cycle Center, Cementer’s Ready Mix and Star Enterprises. Together with his sons, Gary and Jim, daughter, Rose and son-in-law, Jack Stoller they enjoyed many years working together developing the family business. The highlight of his early years were family trips to his home in Breckenridge, his cabin at Lake McConaughy in later years the annual family trips to Hart Ranch and Sturgis. He was past member and President of Full Gospel Businessmen, Gideon’s International, Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association and Northfield Church. At the time of his death he attended The Rock Church in Scottsbluff and was also a member of Calvary Temple in Denver, Colorado where his son, Barry and his daughter-in-law, Vicky are Senior Pastors. He looked forward every weekend to the drive to his town home in Greeley and Sunday Morning Church Service in Denver. He will be greatly missed by his neighbors in Greeley and all of his church family at CT. Mr. Palser died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family when he joined the choir in heaven after a short battle with cancer.
