Helen Mae Thaden

Helen Mae Thaden, 79 formerly of Bayard, Nebraska passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Wisconsin. Her graveside service will be held on Friday September 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Bayard Cemetery in Bayard, NE. Visitation will be held Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com. She was born on July 23, 1943 in Bayard, Nebraska to Harvey and Florence (Wood) Shoemaker. She received her education in Bayard. She married Richard Feather on August 11, 1964. Richard passed away in May of 1987. She later married Allen Thaden and he passed away. Most of her life she was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Loved putting puzzles together and sewing. Helen loved to go to church. She later helped the elderly in Torrington, doing daily tasks and anything they may need. Survivors include her 5 children: Eugene Feather, Rosemary (Ed) Gobin, Richard Feather, Ruby (Frank) Harrison and Walter (Bridget) Feather; 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, infant brother, both husbands, grandson and a great grandson.
