Jason William Miller

Jason William Miller passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2015 due to an aortic aneurysm. He was born August 15, 1974 in Los Angeles California and grew up in La Canada California. He graduated from La Canada High School in 1992. He attended the University of Denver, where he was a member of the Chi Phi fraternity and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in 1996. After graduating from college he started a Wall Street career with Barclays Capital in New York City and later moved to Bear Stearns where he worked with high net worth individuals. During his 12 years in NYC he traveled extensively in the US, Canada and Europe and shared his many adventures with family and friends. He left NYC in 2008 and moved to Scottsbluff, NE to work with his good friend and fraternity brother Mike Hoehn in the farm and ranching business.

Jason was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed profoundly by all that had the good fortune to know him. He always enjoyed a good practical joke. Everyone young and old loved his sense of humor and his many entertaining stories.

He is survived by his Mother and Father James and Patricia Miller of Santa Barbara Ca, sister Jamie (Wes) Pritchett and nieces Kaia and Madison all of Virginia. He also considered the Hoehn family his second family. An open house will be held Wednesday October 14th 2015 at 7pm at the Weborg Center in Gering. Jason will be laid to rest in Santa Barbara California overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
