

Kathryn S. Williams, 91 of Mitchell, Nebraska passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at the Mitchell Care Center. At her request, she was cremated. Her memorial service will be held Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastors Scott and Leanne Thompson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Memorials may be given to the Mitchell Care Center. Kathryn was born on June 26, 1918 in Gering, Nebraska to James P. and Dorthy (Reasor) Sorensen. She graduated from West Denver High School in Denver, Colorado. She attended Colorado Women’s College in Denver and Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Dayle A Williams on June 11, 1941 and to this union four daughters were born, Dalene, Deborah, Pamela and Paula. She was employed at JcPenney’s Company retiring in 1983. Kathryn was a member and Past Worthy Matron Eastern Star, Scotts Bluff Chapter #133, Gering, Nebraska; member and Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary, Gering; served on Guardian Council of Jobs Daughters Bethel #32 in Gering and Past Guardian Bethel #29 Jobs Daughters in Lovell, Wyoming. She is survived by her daughters: Dalene and husband Lynn Parker of Ft. Collins, CO, Deborah and husband Jerry Lamm of Torrington, WY, Pamela and husband John Edens of Bridgeport, NE and Paula and husband Randall Warner of Ord, NE; eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; nephew: Barry and his wife Patty Eisenach of Arvada, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dayle, great grandson Devin Parker, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Edward Eisenach and Alberta Williams Eisenach. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Mitchell Care Center for the wonderful care of their mother, Kathryn.
