Kenneth Dwayne Grant

Kenneth Dwayne Grant, 62, of Scottsbluff, died Saturday June 24th, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, June 28th, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor John Adams officiating. Interment will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. The family requests that casual attire be worn at the service. Kenneth was born July 31, 1943 to George and Irene (Hoffman) Grant in Scottsbluff. He received his education and graduated from Scottsbluff High School. He married Donna Adams on June 14, 1964. He worked for Economy Glass and Thompson Glass for 42 years and retired in March 2005 because of his health. He loved to golf and attend his grandchildren’s sports activities. He was a member of the church and long time member of the Moose Lodge. He was courageous throughout his illness and will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Donna; sons: Eric Grant and fiancé Wendy Best of Scottsbluff, Jay (Stacie) Grant of San Antonio, TX; daughter Kimberly Sturgeon and special friend Pete Moreno; grandchildren Tyler and Nathan Grant, and Brittany and Josh Sturgeon; sister-in-law Carol Grant of Scottsbluff, brother-in-law Tracy (Cleora) Nelson of Colorado Springs, CO; and mother and father-in-law Robert and Mildred Adams of Scottsbluff. His parents, brother Don Grant and sister Sandra Nelson preceded him in death.
