Michael (Mike) E. Warren passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on March 8, 2017at the age of 74, born Nov 27, 1942. The funeral service will be held at The Rock Church, 3515 5th Ave, Scottsbluff on March 15 at 11:00 AM with Pastor David officiating. Interment to follow at a later date for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent/made to Mike Warren Medical Fund, First State Bank 2002 Broadway, PO Box 1267, Scottsbluff, NE 69361. Mike was married Mary Frances Parker and from this union was born Marlena & Julie. Mike was born in Scottsbluff, Nov 27, 1942. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1962 and went on to Hiram Scott College, Scottsbluff, to play football.

Mike was a long time Hydrotex Division Partner and was awarded the HyPerfromance Sales Leadership Platinum Level and qualified for many fantasy trips over the years. He loved and cherished his Hydrotex Family and truly lived every day to make a sale before the day was done.

He was inducted into the Nebraska Racing Hall of Fame in Lincoln, NE and has driven, promoted racing in in the part of the state tirelessly. He was an owner of Oregon Speedway along with his lifelong friend, George Leis. He established the “100 Lap Late Model High Altitude Nationals” and had continued to own a Late Model that races at Colorado National Speedway. He loved teaching his family and friends about racing and his undying dedication to this sport that he had. He didn’t know a stranger and always was there to offer advice and inspiration to anyone.

Mike is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Marlena (Steve) Kampbell of Scottsbuff, grandchildren, Adam, Kasey & Brittany Kampbell & Jack Warren, sister, Janelle Burns, brothers, Jim & Tom Warren, nephew, James Jackson, nieces Teresa Schreiner, Roxanne Ahlers and sister in law, Barbara Brenning.

Mike is predeceased by his daughter, Julie Warren, brother, Billy Warren, sisters, Sharon Beekman & Carol Silvers Walgren and parents, Bill & Lucille (Miller) Warren.
