

Patrick Scot Mosher, 34, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, July 18, 2016 as the result of injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Gering Memorial Chapel with Reverend Craig Collins officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Nebraska National Guard and the Gering American Legion Honor Guard. Memorials may be given in care of the family to be designated at a later time. Patrick was born June 3, 1982 at Scottsbluff to Scot and Lee (Putnam) Mosher. He attended school in Scottsbluff, graduating with the Class of 2001. After high school, Patrick entered into the U.S. Army where he served two tours of duty in Afghanistan and two tours of duty in Iraq. He proudly served his country for 9 ½ years before his honorable discharge in 2010.
Patrick married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Vargason of Mitchell, after graduation and both served in the Army. The couple later divorced. He later married Alaina Davis and to this union, a daughter Renalee Marie, was born. The couple later divorced.
Patrick enjoyed yardwork and gardening, loved horses and dogs, and was a good cook.
Patrick is survived by his daughter Renalee Marie; step-son Andrew Eugene Davis; parents Scot and Lee Mosher; siblings Erica Mosher, Samuel Mosher, and Phillip (Melissa) Mosher; paternal grandmother Frances Marian Mosher; beloved nieces and nephews Billy Scot, Eric Scot, Evangeline Frances, and Lillian May; and several extended family members.
Patrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Betty Jo and Lawrence Peacock and Fred Elvin Putnam; and paternal grandfather Milan Mosher.
