

Raymond O. “Ray” Riggs, 80, of Scottsbluff, died March 12, 2015 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. At his request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Giles Armstrong officiating. Ray was born August 14, 1934 at Conway Springs, Kansas to Oscar and Doris (Aldrich) Riggs. He received his education in the Denver area, graduating from Brighton, Colorado High School. Ray served his country in the United States Army from 1955 until 1957. He married Darlene Stewart in June of 1956 at Denver, CO. To this union three sons were born: Glenn, Rick, and Kevin. Ray married Diana Wall on July 28, 1967 at Denver, CO and to this union two children were born: Rhonda and Christopher.
Ray is survived by his children Rhonda Rae Webber (fiancé Mark McCarthy) of Scottsbluff, Glenn Verlyn (Carol) Riggs, Rick Layne (Elizabeth) Riggs all of Denver, CO; grandchildren Sandy (Adam) Clements, Nathan Riggs, Ian Riggs, and Bailey Riggs all of Denver, CO, Tyler Webber to Greeley, CO, and Lexi Webber of Scottsbluff; great-grandchildren Hailynn Clements and Brady Clements of Denver, CO; brother Marvin Riggs of Arizona; nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Kevin and Chris, and numerous aunts and uncles.
