

Richard Landrigan, 70, of Scottsbluff went home to be with his savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday June 21, 2011. He passed from this life to the next at his home with family at his side. The family encourages family and friends to attend a time of visitation on Monday, June 27, 2011 from noon - 8:00 PM with family members present from noon-2:00PM and from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at the Dugan Kramer Funeral Home in Scottsbluff. At Richard’s request, he was cremated. A private family service will be later. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the family who will share with Festival of Hope and Prairie Haven Hospice. Richard was born in Alliance, Nebraska on December 2, 1940 to J.D. Landrigan & M.G. Landrigan. He was the oldest of 5 children. Richard received his Masters Degree from Chadron State and for 18 years was a mental health therapist in private practice. Because of his love for God Richard attended Bible College and became an ordained minister. He was the pastor of Living Stones Christian Church in Gering, NE. Richard married Linda on January 21, 1976 in Aurora, Illinois. They put two families together and had 8. Their blended family includes (in order of age) Karen Sanders, Dick Landrigan, Patrick and wife Shelley Sanders, April Sue (Landrigan) Busse, Mike Landrigan (deceased), Larry Sanders (deceased), Angelika (Landrigan) and husband Steve Wall, Patrick Landrigan and a very special family friend Cheryl Schultz. Preceeding Richard in death was his father J.D. Landrigan. Sons Michael Landrigan and Larry Sanders and a infant daughter from his first marriage. Survivors include his wife Linda, 6 children, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Survivors also include his mother M.G.Landrigan, brother Don (Charlotte) Landrigan, a brother in Bridgeport, a brother in New Mexico and a sister in California. Richard had an impact on many people and will be missed by us all.
