Senaida G Arellano

Senaida G. Arellano, 79, of Scottsbluff passed peacefully surrounded by family at her home on Friday, November 10, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jonathan Sorensen officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-7 PM on Tuesday with a Rosary Service at 7 Pm at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at the Bayard Cemetery with Father Vince Parsons officiating. Memorials may be directed in care of the family. Senaida was born September 20, 1938 at Van Horn, Texas to Pedro O. and Florencia (Sanchez) Garcia. She was united in marriage to Jose Guadalupe Arellano in 1958 and to this union six children were born: Sylvia, Eloisa, George, Yolanda, Senaida, and Joe Luis. The couple made their home in Bayard.

Senaida enjoyed being a mother, wife, aunt, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a hard worker, avid BINGO player, great cook, and loved being with her family.

Senaida is survived by her children: Sylvia Garcia, Eloisa Meraz, Yolanda Arellano, Senaida Arellano, and Joe Luis Arellano; 30 grandchildren Tito, Lilia, Victoria, Sergio, Alfonso, Sabina, Lisa, Krissy, Gabriel, Abel, Mario, Lupe, George, Kayla, Chris, Audrey, Michaela, Melissa, Chacho, Maribel, Delia, Cindy, Patricia, Sandy, Flora, Clarissa, Estella, Vanessa, Cortez, and Kiki; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Senaida was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, son, and a great-great-grandson.
