Sheri Gale St. Pierre

Sheri G. St. Pierre, a beloved resident of Gering, NE, passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on October 10, 1955, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Sheri spent her early years in Las Vegas, where she graduated from Chaparral High School in 1973. She relocated to Gering in 2003, bringing warmth and kindness to everyone she met. Sheri worked in the food industry throughout her life, with her final role as a dedicated member of the cafeteria staff at Gering Junior High. She was known for her culinary skills, her sharp wit, and her incredible talent for art. Friends and family fondly recall her quick answers to every question on Jeopardy! And her vibrant, creative spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry T. Harris and Eva L. Harris.

Sheri’s legacy lives on through her children—Lindsay Smith, Jesse Smith, and Leah Harris—and her cherished grandchildren: Christian “Cortez” Arellano, Adriano “Kiki” Arellano, Leyland Hoffer, Jesse’ka Smith, Irie Smith, Ciearh “CJ” Lamb-Johnson, Kody Jones, Tasia Tagliere, Jacob Tagliere, Heavyn Harris, and Sasha.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Monument Rehabilitation for their compassionate care during Sheri’s final days.

A celebration of her life will be held in Las Vegas at a future date, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory.
