Travis Lee Ballinger

Travis Lee Ballinger, 26, of Scottsbluff died March 7, 2007 in rural Mitchell. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007 at Grace Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Bruce Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Western Nebraska Archer’s Club. Friends may call between 1-6 Saturday at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel and a wake will be held at Grace Chapel between 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday where family and friends can come together and share all of the memories that we have of Travis. Travis was born January 3, 1981 in Scottsbluff, NE to Gary Lee and Julie Ann (Howell) Ballinger. Travis attended Geil Elementary in Gering, Roosevelt, Bluffs Middle School and was graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1999. He worked for several business including; Scotts Bluff Country Club, Corral West Ranch Wear, Wheeler’s, Wal Mart, CenCon, and currently at Midwest Farm Services. Travis loved to fish, hunt by gun and bow, black powder shooting and an avid outdoorsman. He made friends with everyone. His laugh was contagious. When he smiled it made others feel good and made them smile along with him. He is survived by his parents of Scottsbluff; brother: Troy & Kaylin Ballinger, Scottsbluff; sister: Tracy Ballinger of Douglas, WY; fiancé: Amberly Cannon, Scottsbluff, NE; grandparents: Delores Sauer of Scottsbluff and Gayle and Darnell Howell of Gering, NE; aunts and uncles: Rita Rico, Scottsbluff, Jim and Deb Engler, Gering, NE, Steve and Karen Ballinger, Geirng, NE, Pat and Danny Deines, Gering, Ne, Jerry Ballinger, Gering, NE, Janet Howell, Rapid City, SD, Jeane Warfield, Alliance, NE, Jim and Mary Howell, Everett, WA, Jody and Andy Augustyn, Loup City, NE and Jeff and Caroline Howell, Oklahoma City, OK
