Wesley Roy Lucke

A memorial service with friends and family will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:00 am.

Wes was born July 1, 1945, in Amarillo, TX, to Laurence and Luella Lucke. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School with the class of 1963. Upon graduation, Wes proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a submariner in the Atlantic Fleet. Upon honorable discharge from Navy, Wes continued to move to various cities in the U.S, before settling in Texas in 1980. In 2015, Wes retired to his beloved Scottsbluff.

Wes had three daughters, Christina, Suzanne, and Teresa from an earlier marriage. Wes is survived by the love of his life, Pam Livingston, daughter Christina; brothers Duane and Stanley Lucke; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Wes was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters while his eldest brother, Edward Lucke, sadly passed a few days after Wes.

Wes’ sense of humor, optimism, sweet & teary-eyed reaction to sentimental Hallmark cards, and his knack for storytelling leave a legacy of memories tinged with both joy and sadness for all those who knew him.

Inurnment for Wes’ brother, Ed and daughter, Teresa will be included in this service.
