Lou Ledbetter, 87, of Scottsbluff, died Monday,August 28, 2006 at Regional West Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery. Lou was born June 24, 1919 in Scottsbluff to Arthur Louis and Willo Irene (Wallace) Selzer. She received her education in Scottsbluff schools graduating from Scottsbluff High School in 1938. Lou attended the University of Wyoming for two years. She married Louis H. Ledbetter September 20, 1951 in Scottsbluff and they were divorced in 1963. She was a market researcher for Simmons Market Research for thirty years. Lou was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity at the University of Wyoming, and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church of Scottsbluff. While at the University of Wyoming she was University of Wyoming Beauty Queen in 1939. She loved to golf, travel, read and playing Bridge. She is survived by, her daughter Bette Lisa Ledbetter of Scottsbluff. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Barry Lee Ledbetter and sister Bette Carolyn Lesan.
