Allene Virginia Scott

Allene Virginia Scott was born in Nugent, Texas on August 28, 1922 to John T. & Lena Middleton. She went Home to the Lord on September 29, 2014 with her family members by her bedside singing “Jesus Loves Me”. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sherman Scott, brothers Alton Middleton and J.T. Middleton, sisters Louise Crawford and Zona Bell Winn and son-in-law Stephen Prescott. Left with cherished memories to treasure are daughter Shirley Hall & husband Jimmy, daughter Pat Prescott and son James Scott & wife Altha, 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, 1 brother-in-law and 3 sister-in-laws and numerous other nieces, nephews and other family loved ones and beloved friends. Allene was a devoted Christian wife, mother and grandma. She loved to attend worship services, listen to Christian music and read her bible. She stayed young by volunteering with service projects and attending family activities. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm Wednesday October 1, 2014 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 10:00am Thursday October 2, 2014 at Seagoville Church of Christ, Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park Dallas Texas. Bill Burk officiating.
