Alty Fay Roberts

She was born November 14th, 1929 in Crandall, Texas to Thomas and Maggie Cooley. Alty was raised in Tripp, Texas, and graduated from Tripp High School in 1946. She married Barnie Milburn Roberts in 1947 and the couple had 3 children. She was a sales associate and farmer. She worked at Eckerd's and farmed cotton in Crandall with her husband for over 20 years.

In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden., swinging on her front porch, cooking for her family and friends, and living out the best Christ-like life she could. Her family and friends will always remember her as a strong-willed and independent woman who somehow still had a gentle spirit and loving heart.

Alty spent the last 6 years of her life in Plano with her granddaughter, Kelli Roberts-Burr, and daughter-in-law, Debbie Hallmark.

She was preceded in death by her husband Barnie Milburn Roberts; Her son, Barney Mikel Roberts, her parents, and multiple siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Nesbitt of Fairfield, Texas; Son, Larry Roberts of Cooper, Texas, 9 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Alty will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023, at noon at Roselawn Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1pm
