Beckie Jo Baker, 45, passed away on July 2, 2017. She was born Dorothy (Welch) Baker Beck on December 18, 1971 in Dallas, TX. Beckie was a very playful and special little girl. She was able to survive meningitis at two days old and although she was able to hear and recognize voices, she was unable to walk or talk. Beckie passed away almost two months to the day of losing her beloved Grandmother Irene. Those that knew and loved Beckie will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Preceding her in death are her grandparents: Aubrey and Irene Welch and Oma and Jessie Baker. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Dorothy Beck; son Charles Welch; sister Wanda Wesberry; aunts and uncles: Gene Welch, Carolyn Turner, Ricky and Shairon Welch; great-aunt Olivia Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
