

Billie Perkins, of Garland, Texas, went to be with JESUS on January 1st, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on October 27th, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia to Hoyt and Dorothy May.
Mom enjoyed life to the fullest, she had a love for the LORD that she shared with everyone. Her contagious spirit shined bright, she always put others before herself and gave GOD all the credit. Her enthusiastic character, beautiful red hair and green eyes, infectious smile, love for others and her pets will remain with those she loved so much. Although we couldn’t ask her to stay. She rests now in the loving arms of JESUS, our SAVIOR.
Billie is survived by her three daughters Jennifer Robison of Pilot Point Texas, Sherri Perkins of Arlington, Texas and Jamie Thompson of Garland, Texas. Sister, Dorothy Lane and husband Gary Lane of Plano, Texas, brother Hoyt May of Sun Valley, California, brother Ed May and Wife Nancy May of Mckinney, Texas. Grandchildren Shontele Herrera, Albert Herrera Junior, Travis Dallas, Dustin Calvert, Joshua Thompson, Corey Thompson, Garrett Thompson, Zachary Thompson, Micah Thompson. Great grandchildren, Santana Diaz Junior, Mykah Dallas, Tori Calvert, Asa Thompson, Landon Thompson, Adalynn Newby, Cason Newby, Emma Thompson, and Branson Thompson. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents Hoyt H. May and Dorothy Logan May.
Family and friends are invited to attend her celebration of life gathering at 3:00pm on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Dinner to follow at Bubbas 33 in Mesquite Texas.
