Bryan Keith Hammer, age 52, entered into rest on November 22, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. He entered into life on November 4, 1970, in Dallas, Texas to JW & Glenda Hammer. He was raised in Seagoville, Texas, where he graduated from Seagoville High School.
In Bryan's spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He loved to spend time at the family ranch. His favorite things to do were listen to music and dancing with a big smile, and an unforgettable laugh. He was an avid gun collector and was passionate about cooking on the grill. Bryan was known around town for his family brisket.
His nephew shared a touching sentiment on Facebook:
"Today my uncle Bryan left this Earth and went to the big bbq in the sky. I admired his ability to laugh always, even in the face of adversity. I've met many people but none with such a infectious laugh. My heart hurts but also feeling a relief knowing there's no more pain. My uncle Bryan was a special person, from his willingness to smoke anything on the grill, clean catfish for a fry, and grow some mighty fine tomatoes. That great big Copenhagen smile of his is gonna surely be missed. So many funny stories keep coming to mind ... I'm just blessed to have those memories."
Bryan's friends and family will always remember him as a person who loved his daughter, Emily, very much, and as someone who had a big heart toward anyone he encountered. He had a contagious laugh and some of the best jokes were ones that he laughed at first.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Taylor; brother, Ronny Hammer; and stepfather, John Taylor.
Bryan is survived by his father, JW Hammer of Gun Barrel City, Texas; daughter, Emily Hammer of Rockwall, Texas; sister, Pam Tyler of Richardson, Texas; sister, Cindy Goswick (husband Randy) of Rowlett, Texas; sister-in-law, Denise Hammer of Combine, Texas; nephews, Taylor Page of Dallas, Texas, Jordan Hammer of Combine, Texas, Justin Hammer of Combine, Texas, Eric Collier of Richardson, Texas, and Casey Collier of Richardson, Texas; nieces, Joscelyn Hammer of Combine, Texas, and Katelyn Hammer of Combine, Texas; and a host of many friends.
