

Cody was born October 28, 2001, in Rockwall, Texas, to Nikki Browning and Peter Corral. He grew up around Forney and Seagoville, graduating from North Forney High School in 2020. During his time in school Cody was active in the Boy Scout Troop #1857 out of Forney and the North Forney HS chess club.
After high school, Cody entered the workforce before deciding to follow in his Popol’s footsteps and enlist in the US Army in February of 2023. He went off and completed basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. From there he transferred to Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia for AIT (advanced individualized training). Once again, following in his Popol’s footsteps, Cody traveled overseas to Fort Humphreys in South Korea where he worked his MOS 92F, a petroleum supply specialist. After a year in Korea, Cody was able to visit home before being stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Cody had a great love for History, especially Military History. He was a collector of knives of all kinds and sizes. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and going camping. He was an animal lover with a special interest in fishing and river monsters. He enjoyed cars and watching UK’s The Grand Tour.
Cody is survived by his parents, Nikki Browning Corral and Peter Corral; brothers, Nathen Royce Corral and Bryan Willis Corral; grandparents Barbara Browning, Ricky Browning, and Sandra Madden; His special dog, Raven; Aunt and Uncle Bree and Christopher Weikum, along with many extended family members and loving friends.
Preceding him in death were his great-grandfather Willis Sowards and great-grandmother Alene Sowards.
