Danny P Kersh

Danny Paul Kersh, Sr. of Mabank, TX passed away on February 28, 2015 at the age of 61. He was born on December 20, 1953 to William Daniel and Betty June (Ivie) Kersh in Tyler, TX. Danny spent the first few years of his life in Tyler, but was then raised in the Pleasant Grove area. An avid X-box player and Trekkie, he loved motorcycles and participating in toy runs and benefits. It was at a benefit honoring a policeman in 2008, when Danny was injured in a motorcycle accident and never fully recovered. Helping kids and soldiers returning from combat were two causes that were very dear to his heart. Danny was affectionately known as “PaPa” to his grandkids and loved spending quality time with them. Preceding him in death are his parents, siblings: Roger Kersh and Brenda Ann Kersh; wife Brenda Kersh and grandson, David Earl Kelley, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons: Daniel Harper, Roger Ladale Kersh, Danny Kersh and wife, Melissa, David Kelley and wife Rachel and Michael Kelley and wife, Amber; grandchildren: Kelby Kersh, Rebecca Kersh, Melissa Kersh, Shelby Harper, Kelton Kersh, Makenzie Kersh, Peyton Kersh, Billy Pullen, Aubree Pullen, Adain Kelley, Hunter Kelley, Rhyder Kelley, Roger Kelley, Landon Kelley, Ethan Kelley and Colton Kelley; sisters: Cissy Kersh and Linda Kay May.
