Eva Marie Baker passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017. She was born on November 27, 1928 to Elmer and Iva Mae (Smith) Pritchett in Crandall, TX. Eva was a hard worker and having twelve siblings, she definitely embraced and loved her family. She lived in Crandall and Seagoville all of her life and was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Crandall. Eva absolutely loved jigsaw puzzles (1000 pieces) and was an excellent cook. She kept an immaculate home for her family and loved all pets, especially her beloved dog, Mongo. She was her companion after the death of her husband and she brought her much comfort and joy until her passing. Eva’s greatest pleasure in life was her family and they will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Preceding her in death are her parents Elmer and Iva Pritchett, husband of 49 years, Louis C. Baker, son Calvin Baker and ten brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Alice Wisniewski and husband, Bob, and Carolyn Horn and husband, Ronnie; sisters Edith Farmer and husband, Clyde and Modell Ewing and husband, Edward; grandchildren: Scott, Adena and Keith; great-grandchildren: Rylie, Logan, Thaddeus, Ally, Jenna, Jacob, Avery, Ayden and Ainsley; and many extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Tx. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Roselawn, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest by her husband in the Garden of Roses.
