Felix Perez

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Felix Perez Hernandez, who departed this life on March 30, 2025, at the age of 63. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his devoted family.

Born on October 9, 1961, Felix was a man of strength, passion, and deep love for his family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and older brother whose presence lit up every room he entered.

Felix shared 41 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Bertha Perez, the love of his life and partner through all of life’s adventures. Together, they raised two daughters and built a legacy that now includes 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought him endless pride and joy.

Known for his adventurous spirit and generous heart, Felix found joy in the simple things—riding his Harley-Davidson on open roads, tending to his garden with care, working on his prized 1977 Corvette, and spending quality time with his family. He was also a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and never missed a chance to cheer them on, win or lose.

He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of family, his big smile, and the twinkle in his eye when he talked about his bike, corvette, and his grandkids.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 South Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas.

Felix’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He was truly one of a kind, and he will be missed beyond measure.
