Flora lived her entire life in Seagoville and knew most everyone around. She worked at Branson’s Grocery in the 1950’s and 60’s and then worked at the Dairy Mart for many years. Flora also worked at the Seagoville Grade School in the cafeteria and then went on to work at Bob Mills Sand & Gravel until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Flora enjoyed putting puzzles together and absolutely loved to dance, and even carried her “dancing shoes” in her purse. Affectionately known as “Mema”, Flora loved being a grandmother and her family was her greatest pleasure. She was a very sweet, kind woman and those that knew her and loved her will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Preceding her in death are her parents James and Bennie Williamson; husband Don Donaho; son Larry Donaho; sister Edrie Mae Horton; and brothers James Williamson and Lewis Williamson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: James Donaho, Barbara Jenkins, Sherry Baker and husband, Billy and Danny Gurley; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly.
Family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX.
