Ina Mae Prince Dawson entered her heavenly home on November 28, 2025, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on August 28, 1934, in Blanchard, Oklahoma, to Ben and Daisy Prince. While still in high school, Ina met the love of her life, Eugene Floyd Dawson. They were married on June 28, 1952, and shared 68 wonderful years together. In 1954, Ina graduated as Salutatorian from Elgin High School.
Ina and Floyd were faithful members of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Lawton, Oklahoma. When Floyd surrendered to the ministry, their family began serving all over the U.S.A. and as missionaries to Australia. While still living in Oklahoma, they welcomed their four children: David, Doug, and twins Denise and Dawna. During this time, Ina earned her LPN license and worked in hospitals and nursing homes to help support the family. Her final position was at Baylor Rehab in Dallas, Texas. She dedicated her life to serving others and retired after 35 years of nursing. Ina loved getting her hair and nails done, crocheting, traveling, watching westerns, playing cards with family and watching the Dallas Cowboys. She especially loved road trips with Floyd and their son Doug.
