He was proceeded in death by his wife Dorothy Joan Ballard -Young of 38 years and his brothers JG Young and Danny Young.
Jackie is survived by his daughter, Jacky Young-Jones and son-in-law Russ Jones of Bumpus Mills, TN and his Son Shane "Pup" Young of Freer, TX; One grandson, Colby Jones, his wife Jessica, and great grandson Finley Jones all from Soddy Daisy, TN; and His cousin/brother at heart and best friend, Billy Davison and his wife Gerldene of Palestine, TX. He is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
He grew up in Rylie, TX. Following high school he served his country in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged he and Joan returned to Texas to make there home in Dallas. He retired from Emery Air Freight.
