

James W. Usher, Jr, 68, of Dallas, TX passed away on December 22, 2021. James was born on April 20, 1953 in Belleville, Illinois to James W. Usher, Sr and Betty L. (Smith) Usher. He will always be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, friend and colleague to all who knew and loved him.
James was a Designer in the Aerospace Industry at Ford, Bacon & Davis, Northrop Grumman, Gulf Stream, Boeing and various Aerospace companies. He worked on designing the International Space Station, Stealth Bomber, various Gulf Stream jets, and the Boeing 777. His hobbies included cooking, creating recipes, going out to fine restaurants, driving sports cars, and listening to a variety of rock and jazz music.
James is survived by mother, Betty Usher, sisters Laurie Terrell, Lizabeth Haughwout, Linda (Scott) Chapman and brother Craig (Donna) Usher. Nephews Christian Usher, Curtis (Melissa) Laguna, Phillip Haughwout, Nickolaus Haughwout, Jeremy Usher, Dan Usher and Layne Chapman. Grandnephews Landen Usher, Nickolaus Haughwout II, Benjamin Haughwout. Grandnieces Destiny Haughwout and Faith Haughwout.
He was preceded in death by his father James W. Usher, Sr.
A private family graveside service will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home.
