Thank you Doctor Grubbs for your inspiration,  kindness and generosity for so many people.  You will never be forgotten .

As a young new psychologist in the Dallas Independent School District, Dr. Grubbs was always welcoming with great interpersonal skills. Later, in professional organizations like TPA & DPA , Jerry always showed those same warm welcoming skills.. My latest memories of Dr. Grubbs was working with him as a fellow  Oral Examiner for the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Always, the same Jerry, where ever, you ran into him. I do know that Jerry,  was well respected by the state psychologists and by his clients as well. To the family, I express my sincere condolences.

Was saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I had the privilege of working with Jerry in DISD, and I always enjoyed his unique perspective. A genuinely caring man, Jerry was quick witted and sharp, brilliant and charming... and the world just dimmed a bit with him gone. Best to you, Sharon and Family.

Sharon, I just found out yesterday about Jerry's passing.  Jerry and I worked together for many years. He was a wonderful man and good friend. He helped my family thru a difficult time and I will always be grateful for him. God bless you and your family!

Jerry served the Special Education Department so well.  He was a great friend of mine and seemed to have just the right answers to school problems and to solutions for students.  He is missed by the coworker and his family is in my prayers.

Jerry was a wonderful friend and colleague. He was the psychologist assigned to my class the first year I taught at Nathaniel Hawthorne. Later in my career we worked on the same team. We shared many stories and jokes over the years. I will remember Jerry fondly.   Sharon, much love to you and your family. 

Jerry was a great friend & a wonderful psychologist.  He always knew just the right thing to say, whether to a student, parent, coworker or friend.  His humor was infectious and he will be missed.  My sympathies to you, Sharon, and the rest of your family.

Professionally, Jerry was a mentor to me at DISD. Personally, and more importantly, he was a very good friend. I will miss him very much.  My deepest sympathies are extended to his Sharon, John, Lisa, and the rest of the family.

Jerry and I worked together for many years in Dallas I.S.D.  He always had the ability to put things in perspective...there are important things in life and there are things that don't really matter so much, so get over it.  He provided the levity to always get all of through rough spots.  He also was, of course, very smart and knowledgeable in his field of psychology.  Having lunch with Jerry and the group on Fridays was always something to look forward to and a real  treat.

Jerry was always sweet and made sure everyone felt at home. He will be missed. I’m sorry I missed the service. Sending my love and prayers.

Jerry always had me laughing.  He made me an honorary member of his Sunday School class and presented me with a certified certificate so I was invited to all of their functions.  It was such an honor to be included.  I loved picking at him.  Heaven gained a wonderful man and there will be much humor to be shared.  Every time we parted I always told him to try to behave and he always responded "no".   I never expected any different.  Jerry, you will be greatly missed.  Sharon, I am always here for you.  My prayers are with you and your sweet family.  I love you!
