Jimmy Franklin Dickerson, 51, passed away at his home on December 21, 2015. He was born on December 27, 1963 to Elbert Earl and Lorene Louise (Turner) Dickerson in Dallas, TX. Jimmy loved spending time with his family and friends or as he referred to it, “making memories”. He was a kind hearted man and would give you his shirt if you asked. He enjoyed going to the lake and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Jimmy was the baby of his family and definitely a Mama’s boy and has now joined her in Heaven to be spoiled even further. He was a Baptist by faith and recently renewed that faith as he spent a lot of time with his pastor, Bro. Leonard Eason. Preceding him in death are his parents Elbert and Lorene Dickerson, son Dennis Dickerson, brother James Dickerson, nephews Randy Lewis and Harley Williams. Those left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren: Brooke, Dennis, Austin and Payton; siblings: Glenda Donaho, Martha Henderson and Kenneth Dickerson and wife, Deborah; nieces and nephews: Scarlett Key, Tammy Key, Lonnie Key, Jackie Robbins, James Bridges, Jeremy Dickerson, Brian Dickerson, LaDonna Lewis, Shelly Lewis, Tabitha Dickerson, Samantha Dickerson and Lisa; very close friends: Rita Gonzalez and Donna Russell; many cousins, great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends that will miss his dearly. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Roselawn Memorial Garden, where he will be laid to rest by his parents and brother in the Garden of Scriptures. Please leave condolences for the family at www.Roselawn-Funerals.com.
