Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring, compassionate, wonderful, and dedicated Christ follower. There was only black or white with Julie. She knew what she believed and wanted to help others in their walk with God as well. For the last year of her life, Julie bravely battled pancreatic cancer until she was called home to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and beloved daughter, Rachel Marie Blasingame. After the death of her daughter, Julie campaigned for the cable barrier that was placed on I-635 to prevent other crossover fatalities.
She is survived by her husband, two children and two grandchildren, a host of family - brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, an uncle, an aunt, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews, as well as a multitude of friends and co-workers who cherished their time together.
