Kevin Elliott Johnston

Kevin was born July 20, 1960 in Austin, Texas to Yvonne Cason and Dan Elliott Johnston and would be the youngest of their three children and their only Son. Kevin's childhood would be spent in Austin but would eventually move to Dallas where he would attend high school. Graduating in 1979 from Hillcrest High School before entering the US Navy in August of 1982 where he served on the USS Midway. After exiting the Navy, Kevin became an Electrician.

In the early days of the internet, Kevin found himself online where he met a young woman and the two began chatting on AOL until they were able to meet up. Their modern love story began and Kevin would marry Cheryl Signs on May 19, 2007

Kevin would begin working for the City of Dallas in 2008 and would eventually become an electrical supervisor and continued working until his passing. Outside of work and his family, Kevin loved tinkering with cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed spending time at home with his pets and loving wife.

Here to cherish in his memory are his loving mother, Yvonne Johnston of Austin, Texas; wife of 17 years Cheryl Ann Johnston; Son, Charlie Howell and wife Suzie, and grandkids, Katie and Skyler Howell

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Dan Elliott Johnston, and sister, Connie Lynn Gray and Sherrie Jan Hewitt.
