Loretta Daniel

Loretta (Lammons) Daniel, 94, passed away on December 18, 2015 at her home in Diboll, TX. She was born on February 23, 1921 to Daniel and Elma (Sitz) Lammons in Dallas, TX. Loretta was a dedicated wife and mother. Her faith and her family were her greatest pleasures and priorities. She had an unwavering Christian faith and boundless Biblical knowledge from an enduring love of reading God’s Word. Preceding her in death are her husband, Felston Doris Daniel; parents: Daniel and Elma Lammons; sisters: Cathryn Ruston, Lily Mae Davis and Evelyn Pyles; grandson, Kenneth Wayne Bailey and great-granddaughter, Shawnda Ramsdell Hunter. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Joan Honaker of Dilley, TX, Anna Ruth Bailey of Oklahoma City, OK, Tommy Ray Daniel of Terrell, TX and Jane Daniel Halsell of Diboll, TX; grandchildren: Laura Ramsdell, Linda Lankford, Elizabeth Cardwell, Janet Hoskins, Janine Muckleroy, Lisa Ann Daniel, Kristi Daniel, Wil Daniel and Amanda Daniel; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her dearly. Graveside service will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, TX where she will be laid to rest by her husband in the Garden of Roses.
