

Lucille L. McColm, 85, of Dallas, Texas, a very loving and caring woman, passed away at her daughter’s home on July 9, 2017. She was a life resident of Dallas County, born on September 8, 1931 to Robert and Sarah Bryan in Collin County, TX. Lucille was a Den Mother, alongside her Scout Master husband William McColm. She and William were also self-employed in landscaping and excavating for over 39 years until their retirement. She graduated from Mesquite High School, Class of 1950, of which she participated on the girls’ basketball team where they went to state championships while in high school. Lucille was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church for many years. Preceding her in death are her parents Robert and Sarah Bryan; her loving husband of 45 years William McColm; daughter Joan Eskridge and two brothers. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Beverly McColm Watts and husband Charles. A. Watts of Kyle, TX; Karen McColm Muse and husband Danny Muse of Terrell, TX; and William David McColm and wife Julie Cantrell McColm of Dallas, TX; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchild; and a host of extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, TX. Funeral services will be at 2:00, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville, where she will be laid to rest by her husband in the Garden of Scriptures.
