Maria R. Montemayor

Ama was a beautiful woman that was very much loved by her family. She loved to sew and take care of her plants. Ama especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Mama. She was an amazing cook and if you visited her in her home, you were going to be fed whether you were hungry or not. Ama was a Christian by faith and has surely returned to her Creator.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Roberto Enrique Montemayor, grandson Rogelio Morin, brother Angel Gabriel Rodriguez, brother Maximino Rodriguez and sister Eudelia Rodriguez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Mary Sanchez (Arturo), Maria Morin (Efrain), Fransisco Montemayor, Anadelia Salinas (Baldemar), Roberto Montemayor (Cynthia), Maria Garza, Janie Hernandez (Cesar) and John Montemayor (Nelly); 28 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren; a host of extended family members and friends that will miss her dearly.
