

Patricia (Pat) Ann Marberry Crocker (77) of Seagoville, Texas went home to the Lord on November 16, 2016, surrounded by her children. She was born in Kirvin, Texas on April 7, 1939 to John Preston Marberry and Pauline Prouty Marberry. She attended Wortham ISD until her senior year in high school when she and her family moved to Fairfield. Pat had a big heart and was always there to help when needed. She met no strangers and was a friend to all she came in contact with. Pat loved her family with all her heart. In her younger days in Kirvin, she loved riding her horse, Prince, along with her cousin and friend, Linda Richardson. Pat was an animal lover and loved her pets. She was always picking up strays to give them a home. Her home was always open to family, friends, and her beloved animals. Patricia was a hard working woman with a huge heart who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She was a driver most of her life driving tractor trailer rigs, cement mixers and a school bus. Everyone who rode the school bus she was driving knew that Patricia was the boss of the bus. She enjoyed time with family. She also enjoyed playing games such as word search, dominos and rummy. Most of all, Patricia loved to tell jokes. She was truly happiest when she made others laugh. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Bill and Doug, niece Nancy and her grandson Fila. Left to cherish her memory is her son Bobby Long & his wife Sherron and family; daughter Cindy Jobe and family; daughter Susie Jackson & her husband Eddie and family; son John Crocker & his wife Diana and family; sister Mary Baugh & husband Jimmy and family; brother Glendon Marberry and family; sister-in-law Dorothy Marberry and family and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family loved ones and beloved friends. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8 PM, Friday, November 18, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday November 19, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Woodland Cemetery Kirvin, Texas.
