Patsy Diane Brock Rogers was born on December 3, 1946, in Lamesa, Texas, to Joe Dennis Brock and Lydia Menix Brock. She was the youngest of four children. At an early age, Patsy attended Lamesa Assembly of God Church, where she was saved, baptized, and filled with the Holy Ghost—marking the beginning of a lifelong devotion to God.
Patsy graduated from the Lamesa School District and continued her education at Southwestern Assemblies of God College in Waxahachie, Texas. It was there she met her lifelong sweetheart, Danny Rogers of Odessa, Texas. The two were married on August 31, 1968, and were later blessed with four sons: Jared, Jody, Jonathan, and Jantzen.
After evangelizing together, Patsy and Danny accepted the pastorate of First Assembly of God Church in Seagoville, Texas, where they faithfully served for more than 40 years. Patsy played a vital role in the founding of First Assembly of God Christian Academy, wearing many hats and working tirelessly to ensure the school’s success.
Patsy was a gifted and anointed musician, vocalist, and true worshipper. A devoted prayer warrior, she loved ministering to the Lord through song, whether singing or playing the piano or accordion. In the early 1970s, she and her husband even recorded a record together. In her later years, though she struggled with memory loss, her love for worship never faded—she would still sing, hum, close her eyes in praise, and recall song lyrics and piano chords.
The Rogers’ heart for God was evident in every aspect of their lives. Even after retirement, they remained active in ministry for as long as possible. They were unapologetically Pentecostal and deeply loved the move of God.
Patsy entered her heavenly reward on January 1, 2026, at 1:33 p.m., surrounded by family. She was joyfully reunited with her parents, Joe Dennis and Lydia Brock; her devoted husband, Danny Rogers; her beloved son, Jonathan Rogers; and most importantly, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her sons: Pastor Jared Rogers and his wife Jamie of Mexia, Texas; Evangelist Jody Rogers and his wife Jamie Lynn of Ennis, Texas; and Jantzen Rogers and his wife Sylvia of San Angelo, Texas. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren—Dalton, Briaunda, Garrett, Hannah, Branham, Jera, Hallie, Branson, Brody, and Brooklyn—along with 10 great-grandchildren. Patsy is further survived by her siblings: Evelyn Server and husband David of Snyder, Texas; Jay Brock and wife Helen of Lamesa, Texas; and Lois Jean Sampley and husband Marvin of Lamesa, Texas, as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening, January 11, 2026 from5pm-7pm at Roselawn Funeral Home.
We will be celebrating her life of faithfulness at The Springs Fellowship in Dallas on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1pm, with an
interment to follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville, Texas.
Patsy’s devotion to God, deep love for her family, and faithful care for the body of Christ will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
